A child suffering from PAS may show a fear, hatred or distain for some of the following individuals or groups:
1) One parent and sometimes both parents.
2) Extended family members or friends of one or both extended families.
3) Siblings and step siblings.
4) Anyone associated with one or both of the parents, including professionals brought in to help the family including lawyers and assessors.
5) Groups or organizations associate with one or both parents such as sport groups, scouts or girl guides, parent rights groups, child welfare protection agencies, lawyers. In extreme situation of PAS, the child may not want to have anything to do with any organization or group that the targeted parent has any involvement with.
